Kingsbee Preschool, Pandan Indah

At Kingsbee Preschool, Pandan Indah, we support toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years through play, exploration and hands-on activities. We also offer after-school care. Teachers observe each child’s progress and keep in touch with parents as children learn, make friends and grow more independent.

Key Characteristics

Our learning spaces and daily routines are designed around young children. The centre offers:

Child-sized furniture and fixtures that children can use comfortably;
Open-plan classrooms with space to play and interact;
A curriculum that brings creative and academic learning together;
Activities that support children’s interests and everyday skills;
Individual progress reports to help parents understand their child’s development;
Vegetarian meals and after-school care to support working families;
Safety procedures for the school day; and
Teachers who receive regular training and support.

Daily Schedule

Each day includes opportunities to play, explore, make friends and practise independence. Teachers support language, early maths, movement and social-emotional development at each child’s pace. A typical day follows this schedule:

Children take part in guided group activities and free play, including stories, songs, theme discussions, workbook activities, movement and imaginative play. Teachers observe how they take part and adjust support to their learning needs. The activities below cover different areas of development:

Kingsbee Junior Kindergarten

Kingsbee Junior Kindergarten helps children prepare for the next stage of learning. The programme brings early literacy, maths, science and moral values together with play, movement and opportunities to explore their interests. Our aim is to build understanding and confidence as children prepare for primary school.

My cousin sister is 6 years old and has attended qdees since she was 5. Before joining, My cousin sister struggled with Mandarin and had poor reading and speaking skills. Now, she shows significant improvement: she sings Chinese songs, reads Chinese words, and communicates in Mandarin with her siblings attending a Chinese school.

She has matured considerably, transitioning from being very pampered and a cry-baby, as noted by her teacher during her first parent-teacher meeting, to managing herself well. She learned practical skills like folding clothes and has shown positive changes in behaviour, which I find remarkable.

She enjoys school so much that she never wants to skip it. She particularly loves arts and crafts on Fridays and always looks forward to attending school.

The communication with Qdess is excellent; I can reach teachers anytime, and there’s a school app for updates and activities.

I appreciate Qdess teachers' dedication over the past 2 years. She had a wonderful experience, made friends and enjoyed the supportive environment. The teachers' efforts to teach her Mandarin from scratch have been especially valuable.

The open communication with the teachers and owner has been a highlight, and I’m delighted with her progress. I highly recommend Qdees to other parents, as many students from Ampang.
