At Kingsbee Preschool, our aim is to help children build strong learning foundations, think with confidence and develop care for others. Play, questions and hands-on exploration have a place alongside early reading, writing and mathematics.
Strong learning foundations
Learning to read a word, explain an idea or make sense of numbers takes time. Our educational approach values steady progress in literacy and mathematics, alongside the physical skills children use in everyday tasks.
We want children to understand what they are learning and have opportunities to use it. Practical activities help them connect new ideas with everyday life.

Thinking with confidence
A child’s question can be a useful starting point. Why did that happen? Is there another way to try? How can I explain what I noticed?
Our approach makes room for inquiry, problem-solving and reflection. We aim to help children share their ideas, listen to different views and try again when a task feels difficult.
Confidence also grows through small steps towards independence: expressing a need, joining an activity or asking for help. These moments matter alongside academic learning.
Growing with character
Learning to live with others is part of growing up. We value empathy, cooperation and responsibility, from listening to a friend to considering how our choices affect the world around us.
Our curriculum framework includes community responsibility and environmental awareness. The aim is to help children think about people and the environment, as well as themselves.
Parents are part of the journey
Choosing a preschool means finding an approach that fits your child and understanding what the first days may look like. Tell us about your concerns and what you hope for your child.
Our school app keeps you updated about your child’s day. During the first week, we share more videos so you can see how your child is settling, spending time with friends and joining in at school.
